The PFOA has been created to support all officers involved in Firearms Operations and their families. They are an independent Association whose aim is to support and care for members and their families. The PFOA is supported by the ACPO working group for Armed Policing.
JML are working with the PFOA to provide them with a robust, secure, confidential database for their clients. As the provider of the country’s leading Firearms Critical Incident Management software, Chronicle, JML have the experience, background and expertise to service the needs of the PFOA.
This work is being carried out as a good will gesture and contribution to the PFOA who are a non-profit organisation. "The contributions of the members should as far as possible, be used to assist them and their families in times of need. If we can assist that by using our knowledge and expertise to provide the PFOA with the necessary tools to track their members and allow them to focus on providing their excellent service in the most cost effective manner then we are delighted to do so" states Luis Ponte, CEO of JML Software Solutions Ltd.
The database will ensure the security and integrity of the data for the PFOA as they grow. JML will not have access to any of the data or member details.
