What is Chronicle Secure Taser storage?
Chronicle's Identified Asset Storage (iDAS) is a modular, automated system for managing the storage and issue of Tasers or other weapons. The system uses embedded RFID technology to automatically record the issue and return of weapons and constantly checks for their safe prescence in a secure housing.
How does it work?
Users log into the iDAS system using an RFID authority card, PIN and/or Iris recognition. The system then either opens a predesignated drawer or, if so configured, allows the user to nominate one. LED Status indicators give a clear visual indication of the condition of each drawer. Once the user removes a weapon, iDAS registers the withdrawal and automatically allocates the weapon to that user whilst recording a date-
The modular design means that the system can be configured for small, medium or large applications and provide remote monitoring and control for sites which are not frequently supervised.
